Last year, over 70 people representing 32 organizations gathered at the Pier 66 Boathouse in Hudson River Park for the first Captains & Paddlers Day – click “C&P DAY 2008 REPORT” at right for the full report.

This year, presentations and discussion will include:

· Tips from kayakers on how to read our intentions and skill levels

· Briefing from the United States Coast Guard on new regulations & restricted areas

· All major Safety & Enforcement agencies present to answer questions

· All major commercial operators in New York Harbor are expected to attend participate, including ferry operators, sailboat operators, and an Ambrose Channel Freighter Pilot!
